The progress so far...

I've been a little slow getting around to posting this but what the hell. Here's some of the progress so far. The body is pretty much done now.

Specs:
1 Piece Queensland Maple body
American Flamed Maple neck with classic 'J' style headstock
Australia Bouree fingerboard
24 large/jumbo frets
Abalone dot inlays 6mm
Bartolini Jazz Pickups
Bartolini preamp with 3 band eq
Gotoh fixed bridge
Gotoh classic style tuners
Graphtech TUSQ nut
'All Access Neck Joint'
Danish oil finish

Here's a shot of the body blank after routing the neck pocket.

The body after rough cutting with the bandsaw. Pickup cavities have also been routed (burnt grr!)

After some shaping and sanding. Looking a little better now :).

Test fitting the pickups... Success!!!

Controls cavity routed with pots and knobs mounted. Lookin' good!

All the electronics installed for a test fit. Can't wait to fire it up!

That's all for now... I'll try and get started on the neck this weekend.
